Buttons in hidden rows getting "lost" when xls is saved

I have a worksheet that has 2 form command buttons on every row.

Often multiple rows will be hidden, and these buttons are then hidden with the row.

During normal operation, un-hiding these rows will result in the buttons being made visible again, in their normal place.

However, if I save the spreadsheet with hidden rows, when I come to unhide these rows, the buttons have all been "squashed" so that they are effectively invisible, and all at the top of the worksheet.

This is quite a frustration! Any help would be gratefully received.

James.

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
your save routine could unhide the rows

or the buttons could be told not to resize

Having the buttons set to not resize sadly does not help.

I think I am going to have to delete all buttons and re-add them everytime the workbook is opened.

What a pain.
