calculate days past

Hello,
I am trying to calculate how many days have past since issuing an invoice.
In cell A22 I have the date the invoice was issued, in cell M21 (M21 is manual entry dated Paid) I have the date the invoice was paid.
So this is not to bad I just enter the formula in M22 (M21-A22) and it tells me how many days past for payment in M22.
I would like this to auto calculate the days and place a number in M22 if M21 is blank, and when there is a date entered into M21 or value entered into cell F22 (Invoice Paid) then place the word (Paid) into cell M22

Hope this makes sense?

Thanks Chris

chris007, Good evening.

Try to use this:

M22 --> =IF(OR(F22<>"",M21<>""),"Paid",TODAY()-A22)

Please, tell us if it worked for you.

I hope it helps.

Thanks,
sort of works.
places the word Paid in M22 even if no data in F22 or M21
I.E indicates Paid even if not Paid
