Hi there, can't get my head around this, hence looking for some help

I have 3 worksheets

1st sheet has a list of components, and i am trying to calculate the demand per month for each of these.

Sheet 2 has BOMs - where the parts are used and in what qty per

Sheet 3 has a long list of all assembly numbers qty required and start date

So sheet 1 has the components, sheet 2 has the components and what assembly they are used on and in what qty and sheet 3 demand for the assemblies.

Think it should be relatively straight forward, but can't quite get it.

Help appreciated

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
Are you asking for help in creating a criteria / method to calculate demand? Or do you already know how to calculate the demand theoretically but are not able to do so in excel?

It was the excel bit, but got it now, using Sumproducts (--(

Was trying to do it all in one table/stage - 2 tables makes it a lot easier

Just had a mental block for a moment
