Calculate historic growth

January 1, 2021 value of 100
July 1, 2021 contribution of 10 (new value of 110)
December 31, 2021 value of 120
How to calculate the 2021 growth percentage?

Shouldn't the contribution of 10 on July 1 NOT be included in the Growth percentage?

Thanks but I am looking for the growth on the interest and not the contributions.

The 10 contribution in July would need to be included. I am looking at this to measure money so I am looking to see what the annual growth rates are when there are contributions throughout the year.

what is meant with a contribution, is it like 2 time bringing money to the bank and at the end of the year calculating the interest ?
