Hi Team

I need to work out the percentage increase or decrease between the number in A and the average of number of A:F

I just dont know how to add this into a formula

I tried the following without any luck

=Sum(A2-(Average(A2:F2)/A2)

However it just seems to error out, Could anyone offer any assistance as to where I am going wrong?

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Use this

=SUM(A2-(AVERAGE(A2:F2)/A2))

let me know if any problem

Hi Live_excel,

The formula on its own worked great, so thank you so much, however I was going to adapt the formula and insert into the below formula, however it I cannot seem to get it to work.

Rather than C95 I need to replace this with (AVERAGE(B95:P95)

I cannot seem to get this to work. I was literally just replacing C95 with (AVERAGE(B95:P95), can you see where I am going wrong?

=iferror(if(B95="","",(if(B95>C95, concatenate(" +",text((B95-C95)/C95,"0%"),rept(" ",5),char(9650)),if(B95=C95,concatenate("0%",rept(" ",3),char(9668)," ",char(9658)),concatenate(text((B95-C95)/C95,"0%"),rept(" ",5),char(9660)))))),"◉")
