I have an enquiry open date in one column and a close date in another.

Is it possible to have a formula that calculates the average turn around time without calculating the individual times against each row?

Start date is in "B" close date is in "M"

This is what I have but I'm not sure if its accurate?

Code:
=(SUM('Completed Rejects'!M:M)-(SUM('Completed Rejects'!B:B)))/COUNT('Completed Rejects'!M:M)

Your formula is correct it works out the total time difference and then divides by the number of times which will give an average.

=(SUM(M:M)-SUM(B:B))/COUNT(M:M)

or

to ignore 0 times

=(SUM(M:M)-SUM(B:B))/COUNTIF(M:M,">0")
