Hi
I'm trying to do some basic math within this sample pivot table yet i can't get it done via calculated field since there's a header above the data , how do i remove that to calculate (may - April) and so on?

Having your dates down the sheet in a single column is good design.
What you need to know though, is that a column is considered a field and data in the same column are considered items.
So what you are trying to do can be found in calculated items.

If you are using using 2 or more columns for a calculation you use calculated fields.

Just keep in mind that there are some Date Grouping features built in, so if your 2 months aggregation are the 1st 2 months of a Quarter, you can use the inbuilt Quarter settings.
