# Calculated field in pivot table returning zero value

#### Excel Chimp

##### Board Regular
I want to divide the Values below by a number. Here is the Calculated Field formula I created:
= Metric / 350

The calculated field returns a zero value rather than dividing the monthly value by 350.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help.

### Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},\$Z\$1:\$Z\$99,\$Y\$1:\$Y\$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.

It looks as though your calculated field should be using 'Actual' rather than 'Metric' for its calculation.

Yes, that's it! Thanks so much for replying.

Excel contains over 450 functions, with more added every year. That’s a huge number, so where should you start? Right here with this bundle.
