Calculating a pattern in series data?

I have 3 columns of the following type:

I need a formula to calculate the cycle (if there is any)
If (YR -PREV YR) = (Proj YR - YR) then CYCLE = (Proj YR - YR)
Else cycle should be blank (row 4 in the above table for example.

for row 1 cycle = 3

Please help!

What do you mean? Didn't the formula I posted work for you?
it should work...i have the same formula

I'm looking for an excel function that gives me the same result.

Like TREND() returns the next data in a series, I need a function that looks at a series and gives back the constant difference between consecutive data of the series.
