I need to be able to count down from a date to an expiry date, for example on logging on I wish to now how long before the expiry date. Can I then use Excel to report or flag dates within a 7 day period?

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Calulating Dates

To help you further here is an example of what I am trying to do.

My motor vehicle license is due for renewal on 22/02/2007 I last paid my dues on the 22/02/2004. How can excel tell me the number of days before my license expirys?

Is there a formula to flag this item xdays before it expiries?

Cell A1 = 22/07/2007 Cell B1 = 22/07/2004 Cell C1= A1-B1 This will give the number of days before the bill falls due you can then filter on Column C or no doubt someone on here can write some code for you
