Good Evening,
Help please from the formula gurus. Imagine two coordinates, X = Date and Y = Value. If the value has risen from zero on day 1, to 30 on day 15, how do I calculate the date in the future, if I was to draw a line (radius) from value 0 to value 30 and swing the arc back down to the date line (to zero)?

regards
Birko

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
It appears that you want to derive the date based on the value.

If column A holds the dates starting from A1 and column B holds the values starting from B1, in A2 enter the formula:

=$A$1 + (B2/2) which can be copied down.

A1 should hold a true date.

If my answer is off-track, please post again with a restatement of your problem.
