Can someone help me with a formula which can calculate the amount of standing time. the trouble I have is that the working hrs per day are not constant and I have two shifts. Day shift working hrs are Mon & Thurs 8:30 - 17:30, Tues & Wed 6:30 - 15:30, Fri 4:30 - 12:30 then on afternoon shift working hrs are Mon & Thurs 18:00 - 3:00, Tues & Wed 16:00 - 1:00, Fri 13:00 - 21:00. If there is standing time from the start of shift on 1st (day shift) to end of shift 30th (night shift) there should be 298 hrs (Using September for eg) If the standing time was from 10:00 on 2 Sep to 18:00 on 6 Sep there should be 31.5 hrs. Help will be appreciated.
