I have several tables that indicate a cost per measurement. I need to determine costs for sizes that are not provided.

How do I come up with numbers for where the question marks are? I tried grabbing the handle and spreading out the table and that works for some but not all of the numbers. I have tried trend and growth, but to no avail. I am certain it is something simple that I am doing wrong, but I have not been able to figure out what it is. Notice the smaller the "size" the higher the numbers.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the board.

Look at this row:

20 ? ? 53.84 45.39 42.53 40.21 38.25 55.50 51.78
Does that look like something smooth that could be extrapolated to the left?

The other rows are similar -- the price goes down and then jumps up.

I think I included too many numbers. Sorry! There is a break where the numbers jump. These are numbers that represent a cost for Single Wide Manufactured Homes verses double-wides, which is why the numbers drop and then jump again. I should not have included that second set of numbers. (Not smart on my part!) I should not have included anything to the right of 18.

Having some insight into what those numbers represent and why they are what they are would guide you on how to extrapolate them. There's no context to the problem, just a bunch of numbers.
