# Calculating Time

I'm using the below table A1 to F6. As you can see column F shows the final time on-site but now what i need to do is enter a formula in column G to show "OK" if equal to or under 1 hour, show "1 to 1.5 hours" if obviously between 1 to 1.5 hours, show "1.5 to 2 hours" etc......

Also i need it to calculate as follows:

If arrival time is before booking time don't calculate until booking time, if arrival time is after booking time then calculate from arrival time.

<TABLE style="WIDTH: 351pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=467 border=0 x:str><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 62pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 3035" width=83><COL style="WIDTH: 53pt; ### Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.

Hi,

You could try this;

=LOOKUP(A1,{0,"OK";0.041666666667,"1 to 1.5 Hours";0.0625,"1.5 to 2 Hours";0.0833333333333333,"2 - 2.5 Hours"})

Each of the values I have in, ie. 0.041666666667 are equal to values divided by 24, in this case =1/24.

You could use a lookup table and VLOOKUP also.

Hope this helps.

Excel contains over 450 functions, with more added every year. That’s a huge number, so where should you start? Right here with this bundle.
