Can anyone help me ...please.

My computer often crashes as it tries to calculate my spreadsheets.
I have auto calculation swiched off (obviously!)and use an FTP (vision) to refresh sections at a time - however sometimes in error I pres F9 which leads to all my open workbooks being frozen for long periods or worse crashed out of(with work being lost).
Is there a way to stop calculation once it has started? Or is there a way to close one spreadsheet (the one being calculated) whilst keeing others open?

Thanks for any help in advance.

Emily

Hi Emily,

If you hit F9 by mistake hold down the Escape key for a couple of seconds - this should stop the calculation.
