I have a set of data like

Organisation User Month Type of Copy Volume
Org 1 1 200404 A 20
Org 1 1 200404 B 8
Org 2 2 200404 A 10
Org 2 3 200404 A 15
Org 2 3 200404 B 5

Within this I am creating a pivot table with Organisation and month as page items User as a row field, type of copy as a coulmn and volume as the data. I am trying to add a calculated item to show the volume of B as a % of A. I can create the calculation but when I add it into the data it brings back all of the User numbers rather than those for the selected organisation. I.E. if I have Org 1 selected as the page item it will bring back details for users 1,2 & 3.

Can any body help please

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.

StewartS,

Double click on "Sum of Volume" in your pivot table, then choose Options, change "Show data as" from "Normal" to "% Of", then on Base field select Type of Copy, and for Base item select A and click OK. Select Org 1 as your page item. You should see 40% which is right becuase 8 is 40% of 20.

Is this what you are looking for???

Thanks

I did look at this option but should have added that I want to see the volumes as well as the %. This method only shows the % details.

I've solved this by slightly reorganising the data to have separate fields for the copy details.
