Calendar Control in Excel VBA

I have a VBA script I've been using for quite a while now that includes a calendar control MSCAL.OCX. Yesterday, my script failed and I realized it's because that file is missing.

From what I can tell, this has been deprecated for some time.

Is there another control I can use in its place? Scrolling through the long list of available items in Tools/References, I haven't been able to find anything that looks hopeful yet.

There isn't one any more, you will either need to create one yourself, or use a third party add-in. For the latter have a look here Use a Calendar control or Date Picker to fill in dates

Thanks! In my case, I ended up writing my own code to do this. It doesn't look as pretty as what I used to see with MSCAL.OCX, but it does the job
