Hi There,

am trying to put together a simple year-based calendar in excel.
each day will have it's own cell so that entries for things to be done can be put into that cell.....

easy, i know. here comes the tricky bit...

what i'd like to be able to do is have a section above the calendar which shows the events coming up in say, the next two weeks. this would be based upon 'todays' date and would somehow populate 14 free cells at the top with the info from the 14 cells following (and including as the first cell) todays date in the calendar.

afraid i have no idea how to do this! any help would be greatly appreciated!

thanks,

John

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
hi all,

thanks for the feedback, will look into it.

i don't use outlook because..

1) i hate it
2) i don't need 9/10s of the rubbish it wants to install
3) when i have it people annoyingly try and schedule meetings with me
4) about 6 months ago it crashed and despite numerous total reinstalls it has given up the ghost. i think it is sad that bill has left the big msoft.

cheers,

John
