I have a worksheet where users supply parameters for an external program and initiate some tests by clicking a button in Excel. I have the other application running in a minimized state as there is no interaction required once it has been kicked off. When it finishes processing, there are a few additional steps that need to be completed in my Excel worksheet but they cannot be started until the other application finishes.

Is there any way Excel can detect when the other application quits? I want to display a "macro is running" message on the screen until that occurs.

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
