For some reason, all my formulas have stopped calculating live. If I save them, close Excel, open the file back up again the formulas calculate fine. But if imake any changes in one of the input cells or the formula itself, it won't update until I reopen the file again. Do you guys know what could cause this?

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Tools > Options > Calculation tab and make sure Automatic is ticked.

Your excel might have its settings changed to Manual calculations. You can change it back to automatic calculations by going to Tools>Options>Calculations> and under Calculation click on the Automatic radio button.

Under the drop down of Tools, choose Options. Then look at the Calculations sheet and be sure Automatic is filled in.
