Can a formula do this?

This is what I have...

20 different accounts
for each account there is column of data
each column includes:
List A
List B
List C

I would like to be able to select the account and in a cell put in a number that will coordinate with List A. If that number is too low, I would like it to return "Exception". Then, I would put in a number that would coordinate with List A and B. If that number is found on List A and List B, then it should return "OK" if not than "Exception". The same for list C. This is extremly confusing to me as well as all those reading it. I have the formatting I want I just need a formula to "think" for me and make the process automatic. Does anyone have any suggestions?

This is my lists of data. I would like to be able to pick an account and put in a number that would go along with the 700& above lists. If that number is not OK then it should return "violation". Then I would put in the 2nd # and it should see if it's ok. Does any of this make sense? [/list]
