Can Excel retrieve values from a chart?

I have a line-chart which consists of anywhere from 5 to 10 points which are joined by a best-fit polygonal line - (the best fit line usually ends up as a parabola). I have been able to see where Excel can actually come up with an equation for the best-fit line, but I'm looking for the maximum Y value on this line. Is this possible?
 

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
