Can excel run a text file as a macro?

I have a Unix server that generates an Excel macro to load a file and then format it. The excel macro is a text file called anything you like ... the data file is a CSV file with a similar name but .CSV... Is it possible to persuade Excel to automatically run the macro contained in a text file without having to go through the process of manually loading and running the macro file?

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Thanks Nate, I can see how that would work. The only thing I am missing is a code fragment for a file dialog box in VBS !!

Scrub my previous request  no need for a file picker ... just run the text file as a VBS like you said . Hmmm Thanks again.
