Ok - I have absolutely no idea to the answer of this one so I could be making a complete idiot of myself here but I have to ask... can Excel (any version) send an email (eg, like an "alert") when certain conditions are met within a spreadsheet? And if so, what would be required to set this up? (ie, Excel version, macros, email details etc...)

For example, if I needed to send an email to a Yahoo or Hotmail address (or whatever email address) to notify me of a function or condition being satsfied on my worksheet (eg, the value of cell B10 has gone above 150) - can it be done in any way known to man?!!

As ever, thank you to everyone who replies!!!!!!!!
