Can I do this with CountIF?

Is there a way to use a count if formula to calculate these for me. I have a lot of lines to do. What I need to add up the sums of column C for each item in column B. Example below

Use SUMIF()

In F1: =Sumif($B1:$B1000,$E1,$C1:$C1000) copied down

adjust ranges to suit.

This would be well suited for a pivot table.

But as a formula, you want SUMIF

Formula in F1:
=SUMIF(B:B,E1,C:C)

Copy down.
