Can I get a formula? pretty simple...

I would like to multiply every cell in column A by B:1 I obviously cannot just go =A2*B1 and drag it down so how would I do that???

There's a couple ways...

=A2*B$1 - the $ locks the row, so you can fill it down and it will stay B$1..


Copy B1
Highlight Column A
Right Click - Paste Special - Values - Multiply

that does help thank you...do you know how I would do this???....

Lets say I have 4 sizes in column A with a sales total in columb B and above the first size is a style number with it's total sales and lets say that repeats 10 times with the same sizes but the style number and the sales totals are different how would I divide or multiply the first set of sizes by B2 and the second set of sizes by B7 and so on even if there were a different number of sizes every time I just want to dictate that every size be divided or multiplied by it's total every time a different total??? any thoughts???
