Hi -

I was wondering if you can get cells from one sheet to automatically fill in on another sheet, instead of having to retype the info? If so, how is this done? I haven't worked with Excel in awhile but when I did, I thought I did this but I don't remember how.

Thanks for any help.

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Say you want cells in Sheet2 to fill automatically when their companion cells on Sheet1 are changed.

Then for cell A1 on sheet2 enter:
Code:
=Sheet1!A1

Or if you name your sheets like "My Sheet" where there are spaces in the name:
Code:
='MySheet'!A1
