Hi,

Is it possible to create a shape/pattern which moves on your screen whilst the macro is running?

Thanks

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Yes you can probably create a status bar if you're really bored I think. However I usually just change the cursor.

Application.cursor = xlWait
runMacros
Application.cursor = xlDefault
