Can I save a snapshot of an Excel Spreadsheet

I have a spreadsheet that is absolutely full of links to other data sheets, formulas etc and I want to update it with current data and then post it in a shared area so that others can simply look at the data, use the drill down functionality within etc but don't have to worry about linking etc. I know it sounds simple to place the live version and ask people not to hack around in it but people are people and someone will break it. Can I post a "snapshot" that will do the trick? How would I do it?

Just use Copy|Paste Special|Values to remove the formulas.
