Can it be done? Pulling data by looking up dates on sheets

I have a complex question.

I have a sales employee who wants to track his sales percentage by sale, by day, of the month of the year. Basically he wants to be able to Look through his individual work books(Sales), (should be all in one work book?) and pull his commission off the sheet (say B3) and have it show up in his work book labels sales, for that day of that month.

If that isn't to complex, let me know what you all think.

Again, all help is greatly appreciated in advance.

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.

Almost anything can be done with Excel.. How complicated are your workbooks? How are they formatted? Can you post an example of the data we would have to work with?

Have a good day,

Hi Dave,

The data isn;t complicated at all. All of it is easy input, no complex formulas. I am looking to check the workbooks in a directory. Look at the page in cell D24, thats the date, then pull the commission from cell H35 of the same sheet and place it on the commision pay page for each day of each month. Basically automated instead of inputting it all.
