I had an app that for some reason got huge.... went from 300k to 16 mb!
Ultimately I decided to get rid of the problem by starting a new workbook. (Called newbook).
In the 1st sheet of newbook, I pasted some rows and columns from the oldbook.
In newbook I created a newsheet (called newsheet) and proceeded to create, from scratch, a pivot table referencing the data on newbooks firstsheet.
But, now, when I open newbook, I get the error "CAN NOT OPEN PIVOT TABLE SOURCE "oldbook.xlsx".
How do I 'turn off' or 'break' this link?
