Hi All

I have a cell say A1 having value of 4.

A1=4

can i give this value (4) a hyperlink so that we can call a simple macro which will take me to A1 of sheet2.

Note: vlaue 4 should have a hyperlink (when we rolover it should show me a hand as like we see when we Rolover on buttons) and on click it should take me to A1 of sheet2

Hope i m clear...

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
In A1, replace the value 4 with this formula:

=HYPERLINK("[Book1.xls]Sheet2!A1",4)

changing the workbook name to suit.

Thanks Andrew,

Its working fine....

can we do one additional thing....

when we go to sheet 2... there can we see only the value on which we have clicked....

Example
in sheet2 where values are like
Anis - 2
Andrew - 2
Sykes - 3

and when we click on 2 of sheet1 and when it comes to sheet 2 it only show me the value of Anis and Andrew and not for Sykes (using filter)

hope i m clear....

Thanks

Anis
