can we write notes in Access

Is there a way to have a shortcut to notepad or something like notepad in access so that we can write notes for the db?? Please advice

You can use Memo fields in the database to write up to 64K per record (if you need to). Is that what you were after?

or if you're looking to document your database you can open a table in design view and there are description fields for each column you can fill in

I just want a simple notebook or word document in my db where I can put my comments/document my logic for the db. I can do it separately in Excel or Word but I want to able to refer it from my db annd make changes

You could hyperlink to a file that you use for keeping your comments.
Or you could create a table just for holding this sort of detail. Then you can update any time something changes, and you can also create reports.
