Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
Have you actually tried it? Or am I misunderstanding something here?

No I haven't. I was wondering if any of you guys here know a way to do it.

Thanks

Err, external link updating is allowed. What is the problem?

I am referring to the EDIT->LINKS when a worksheet is linked another workbook.

When a sheet is protected, and I click on EDIT->LINK, the UPDATE VALUE, CHANGE SOURCE optionsa re not highlighted.

Is this not the case with you?

I was referring to the "Do you want to update links" prompt ( which is the same as UPDATE from the Edit/Links menu options, which works fine when you say "Yes". That's on a protected sheet.

No, I do not have the options for Update Links, or Change Source available with the sheet protected, but you didn't mention that before.

Ok, sorry for the misunderstanding. I think I have not used the precise words.
