Is it possible to change the regional settings in windows to Australian with a macro? I need to know as I can build that into my spreadsheet as the users might not know how to change it manually.

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Hello,

With Excel .. when a question is asked : is it feasible or not ? ... the Answer is always Yes it is possible ...

But, sometimes, this involves relatively tricky solutions ... especially when it comes to manipulating the Windows configuration of others ....

Why don't you ... more simply ...write a procedure for your Users ...?

Do you mean just write instructions for the user?

If they don't know how to change their regional settings for your spreadsheet how are they supposed to change it back to their settings afterwards?
Personally I wouldn't want anyone playing with my regional settings.

Do you mean just write instructions for the user?

James006 probably means exactly that.

By the way, if your question is only related to Date Format ...

Within VBA, using DateSerial would allow you to bypass the hurdle ...

Hope this will help
