I have a number of files that have financial data in them that I am constantly updating and they are all linked together...meaning that a cell in one spreadsheet pulls data from another and spreadsheet 2 updates when spreadsheet 1 is changed.

The problem I have is that occasionally I have to add a column or row which then throws all my links off unless i have the linking file open so that it can "see" the change happen. That would be simple enough except I'm dealing with about 20 or more spreadsheets with links between them and they are cascading...ie spreadsheet 1 links to spreadsheet 2 which links to spreadsheet 3 etc.

...long story short...Is there a way for me to know/see the links between all spreadsheets? I've already thought about Edit-->Links, but that only tells me for spreadsheet 1. Once I've opened all the files it links to, then I would have to do the edit-->links for all of them over and over and would end up taking me forever just to find out which ones to open. Anyone have any ideas for something a little more streamlined? I can't be the first person to have to deal with this.

thanks in advance
