Is there a way to link two cells toghter so if I change one in a worksheet that it changes in another worksheet, its for an employee schedule that is 3 months, each month representing each month a seperate excel file but with the same roster,
Open both workbooks.
In cell A1 of workbook1 input an equal sign, "=". (without quotes)
Then go to workbook2 and click cell A1 in the sheet you want to link to.
Hit Enter.
The resulting formula in workbook1 will be "Absolute", (has $'s around your cell address).
Edit these out of the formula in cell A1.
Now you can drag your formula down or right to extend the links.
