I have 6 excel workbooks and I want to link 6 worksheets into 1 master file. Is this possible?

I know I can link cells but I want to be able to link over changes like added rows/columns, any hidden rows/columns, as well as any format changes into the master file.

Thanks!
Peter

Hi Peter,

I'm pretty sure there isn't any way to do what you are describing through links.

If you want your master to have the same information and formatting as the 6 linked workbooks sheets, you might consider making a macro that opens those workbooks and:
1. Copies the cells and formatting into the respective sheets in the Master; or
2. Copies each worksheet into your master, changes any formula references and deletes the old version of each worksheet.

The best approach will depend on how you are using those worksheets in your master workbook.
