Can you not display data in a cell, but the filter will still recognize it?

I have a table I have created with Power Query and I have an ID number in Column A. I know I can format customer with ;;; and what is in the cell will not display, but then it doesn't work with the filter either. Is there a way to have cells hidden, but the filter will still recognize the data?

I was hoping to only have the cell A1 visible and the rest to have the data, but not display, but also to still be recognized by the filter.

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Try changing the font color from A2 down to match the background color of the cell. The data will still be there but won't be visible. If you want to make it visible again, just change the font color back to what it was.
