Hi Guys

I guess the title says it all, but a little more background:

2 columns - A = a list of products. B = a number

Ideally I would like to be able to use the arrow icon set on column A. It should be an upward arrow if the number in column B is positive, a downward arrow if it is negative and a horizontal arrow if it is 0.

But, i don't know if you can offset conditional formatting.

Thanks for any help

Neil

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Icon sets can only be applied to the column they are in. You could insert a column before column A, use formulas to get the values from the numbers column and apply an icon set hiding the value in the cell (Show Icon Only).

Dont think so, but you can put a narrow column in to the left of your column A and give it a formula so it gets the same number as your current column B - so long as the column is no wider than the arrow head in the icon it will appear without any associated text.
