Can you put other objects in back-end other than tables?

Hi All,

My database is split into a back and front end.

The back end contains the tables, and the front contains all other objects.

The front end has so many queries in it, so that our company can use the data, that it has become very large.

Is it possible to move any other objects to the back end or will this stop the system from working?

I do compact my database weekly.

Thank you.

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
I will give you an idea but this will not reduce your file size much but it may help you better in your next project.

If you have some common programs that open Forms (not linked to tables or queries) those programs and Forms can be moved into a separate database (not back-end) on server. Attach this database as a Library file to the front-end database. Check the link: Command Button Animation for tips on how to link a library database.

When you call a program that resides in the Library Database and if it is for opening a Form, first it will look for the Form in the library database itself and if found it will open from there, if not found then it will open Form the database from which the program was called.
