Hi guys, I've got a drop down that concatenates two columns together to make it easy to pick the item, so instead of '9999', its '9999 Paperclip 500 Count' in the dropdown. I want to break apart the concatenated cell (A6) back to its 2 original ones in cell B6 and C6. Is this possible? For reference, H6 is my '9999' cell, and 'Paperclip 500 count' is cell J6, but because of the nature of the dropdown, the rows will be different.

I'm pretty sure there's an IF, THEN, and COLUMN function somewhere in here (maybe a vlookup?), but I don't have enough experience to get it the formula to work. I'm going crazy right now trying to get it functioning! Thanks

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
I solved it on my own! Just used the Concatenated cell as the left-most column, then VLOOKUP'd the other corresponding columns/cells. Yay!
