Can you set up a default order for excel customer sort?

I sort several groups of data daily. While it is not a huge efficiency issue, I find when I do use the custom sort feature I often have to confirm that the data has headers, and I need to specify that the sort order goes from largest to smallest. It defaults to smallest to largest. Is there any way to set defaults for custom sort or is this something I'd like need to turn into a macro if I want to skip the repetition of it all?

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
Unfortunately I don't think you can change the default settings.
