I have a macro that is triggered when the workbook is opened, and was wondering if it is possible through vba code to determine the windows/network username of the person who opened the file in order to prevent the macro from executing unless it is a particular user?

thanks in advance,
kevin

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Private Sub Workbook_Open()
If Application.UserName = "user" Then
code here
End If
End Sub
