Hello All,

I used external data import to get updated currency rate in my sheet. I imported external data to new sheet, I changed decimal dot to decimal comma to be able use this values in formula. But it is not possible to reduce number of decimal places, if I set the cell format to number, it is still not number (checked by Is.Number function).

For import, I used manual from this website:
Excel: easily get the latest currency exchange rates

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
Hi Johnster.

Try this formula - it wqrked for me:
=--SUBSTITUTE(Table1[[#This Row];[exchangeRate]];".";",")
Just amend the table reference.
