Hi, i have an excel file where I load several excel and csv files, the prepare the data and aggregate the data with pivot tables.

However after some recent changes to the file, I am no longer able to create pivot tables manually or in vba. All i get is a 17 by 3 white rectangle, with the bottom right 2 cells appearing as normal cells. See image below. Older versions of the file still allow me to run the macro and the create pivots. I feel as though I have corrupted or overburdened the file in some way...

Solutions tried: safe mode, cleared formats, cleared all other pivot tables. These did not work.

I have had this exact problem before on older versions of excel when I prepared data from large data sources in vba. I had to revert to a previous version of the file and slowly build it back up.

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Hi
Try opening your amalgamated file in an older version of Excel, and then saving it as a new name.
Then try again with the new file.
I once had a similar problem, not with EXCEL 2016, and that solve it for me.
