Hello Katherine. You may have corrupted or accidentally moved the MSO97.DLL. Do you have your Office97 CD handy as you will need this. First open explorer and do a find (<CTRL-F>). The file should be in C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOffice. If it is not there than you will need to do an extract from the CD. The CD has a seies of CAB (cabinet files like big zip files)and one of these will have MSO97.DLL on it. Once found copy it to the correct location. Generally however if this file is corrupt your Office application is corrupt and you need to do a re-install.
flyfisher....thanks for your reply. i cannot however, find the dll file anywhere. yes i have the cd but it says the file is missing? i can't understand that. is there any other way to look for it? i don't know how to extract files. i really believe it's something i accidently deleted but i need it back quickly. thanks for any additional help. katherinepackard@hotmail.com
