Cannot shift objects off sheet

Hi

I have using an excel spreadsheet and I am trying to hide some columns using Format --> Column --> Hide

I keep getting the error message "Cannot shift objects off sheet".

I thought this may have to do with some groupings that I had set up. However, I have ungrouped these but I still keep getting the error message.

I am not aware of any objects that I have on the sheet.

Any ideas??
