Hi

I have this simple formula.
Code:
=IF(H5>0,(+F5)/H5, " ")
I know what this formula deos. My question is why that "+" sign infront of "F5"
I have a lot of different fomulas in this spreadsheet and i have seen that "+" in almost everyformula, which to me does not do anything.

Anyone know why is that thier?

THanks in advance

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Hello,

I may be wrong, but I think that comes from Lotus 123, a guy here always puts a + in front of the formulas.

I guess you are right. The guy who made this excel sheet, used to work with Lotus 123

Thanks once again
