CANNOT view fill color in cell

i cannot see any colors in any of my cells on my file on my screen, however when printed, it is fine and i can see all colors/patterns in the file.

i do a fill color and change color and no change shows up, but when i print it is fine.
pls. help.

is there some setting that might have changed? all was working a couple of days ago

Hmmm - Have never seen the issue raised where that wasn't the solution, and I've read the bulk of the posts in the MS Excel groups over the last few years.

Was the High Contrast setting on at all??
